Emeralds of Spring, Pearls of Blossom

The debut art exhibition featuring young artists from the educational program of the Civic Initiative “UKRAINIAN STUDIES” (directed by Andriy Sendetskyy) aims to introduce our community to the creative achievements of these emerging painters, who are showcasing their fine art projects for the very first time.

The presented works, centered around the theme”EMERALDS OF SPRING, PEARLS OF BLOSSOM,” are the result of a comprehensive creative development program by “UKRAINIAN STUDIES” (instructed by Doctor of Art History Oleh Bolyuk). This program is hosted in the welcoming premises of the Colonel Yevhen Konovalets Branch in Calgary of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Canada.

Using gouache and color graphics techniques, the students of”UKRAINIAN STUDIES” have explored the rich spectrum of green hues and visualized the mystery of nature in bloom. Their work serves to once again draw attention to the human perception of spring’s annual arrivalas the eternal awakening of life.

Through our collaborative and persistent efforts, we carry on the traditions of the Ukrainian art school. United around the vision of fostering meaningful dialogue through culture, education, and science, we strive to preserve and promote Ukrainian identity as a hallmark of high aesthetics.
